Mid-summer holiday and patriotic fun.  Lots of opportunities to celebrate in your Red, White, and Blue. Can you believe it?  Next week is July and with it, the 4th of July and all the fun and festivities for Independence Day that match our hot and dry Sacramento summers with many special outdoor activities.  Looks like the weather will have cooled down a bit to the mid 80’s so that’s quite comfortable to watch the parades, participate in the fun runs, go enjoy the festivities and still enjoy some warmth while watching the cascading lights of the fireworks pulse overhead in the evening. Auburn

Auburn Gold Country Fairgrounds 1273 High Street, Auburn Festivities start at 4:30pm with Music, Parade, and ending at 9:30pm with Fireworks!    

Carmichael

Pancake Breakfast at Carmichael Park 7am-11am Parade along Fair Oaks Blvd 10:30am Fireworks at La Sierra Community Center, 5325 Engle Road. 7 pm-9:30pm Food, music, and fun with FIREWORKS at 9:30pm.  

Davis

Food, games, and entertainment at Community Park and other locations. Pancake Breakfast 7-9:30am Little League Park at Covell Blvd Kiwanis Kiddie Parade from C Street between 1st and 2nd Streets 9:30am Bike racing, Kids Fun Ride (see details on link) Fireworks at 9:35pm

El Dorado Hills

On July 3rd (the night before 4th of July) at the El Dorado Hills Town Center Festivities from 6-11pm with Fireworks when it’s dark.      

Folsom

It’s that time again for the Folsom Rodeo July 1-3rd.  Fireworks when dark. Firecracker 5k/10k Run July 4th at 7:30am    

Lincoln

Pancake Breakfast Lincoln Veteran’s Hall 7am Parade, games, activities, music, kids’ zone, Fireworks!  

Placerville

At the El Dorado County Fairgrounds: The July 4th includes carnival activities, mazes, contests, music, food, and Fireworks Gates open at 4pm. Fireworks when dark.  

Rancho Cordova

July 3rd – Happy Birthday Rancho Cordova!  4-11pm Kids’ Zone, Carnival, food, music and Fireworks. July 4th – Independence day activities games, food, music, and Fireworks.      

Roseville

5k/10k Fun Run/Walk at Royer Park Parade 9am along Vernon Street Royer Park Activities – face painting, balloon artists, music 10am-1pm NOTE:  NO Fireworks this year.

 

 

Sacramento
